About MR Foundation
MR Foundation for Holistic Rehabilitation & Empowerment is committed to creating meaningful pathways towards dignity, inclusion, independence and positive social change.
Who We Are
A Foundation Built Around People and Possibility
MR Foundation is a purpose-driven organisation focused on holistic rehabilitation, empowerment, inclusion and community welfare.
We believe meaningful change requires more than temporary support. Wherever possible, we aim to encourage opportunities that help individuals and communities build confidence, independence, resilience and a stronger future.
Our work is guided by compassion, responsible action and a commitment to creating meaningful and sustainable social impact.
Meet Our Founder
A Vision That Began With Compassion
Reema Sharon Rodrigues (Ayesha Naaz) — Founder & Director
“I have always believed that sometimes, all a person needs is someone who sees their pain, believes in their potential, and refuses to give up on them.”
From a young age, Reema carried a deep belief that meaningful change begins with compassion — with seeing people not for their circumstances, limitations or struggles, but for their dignity, potential and humanity.
The vision behind MR Foundation was born from that belief: to reach people who need support, restore what has been lost, strengthen what remains, and create pathways towards a life of dignity, independence and hope.
For Reema, empowerment is not simply about providing assistance. It is about helping people rediscover their voice, rebuild their confidence and recognize that their circumstances do not have to define their future.
Her academic background in Rehabilitation Science, along with her studies and continued interest in Sociology and Psychology, has shaped the way she understands people, their environments, their challenges and the different forms of support needed to help them move forward. This multidisciplinary perspective is reflected in her belief that meaningful rehabilitation and empowerment must look beyond a single issue and consider the whole person — their physical, emotional, psychological and social well-being.
Her vision is for every person who needs support — regardless of gender, age, ability, background or circumstance. It extends across individuals and communities — women and men, children and young people, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, vulnerable individuals, and those navigating emotional, social or physical challenges.
She believes that no one should feel invisible, unheard or left behind when they are in need of support.
Her compassion also extends beyond people. As someone who has always felt deeply connected to animals, Reema believes that kindness should extend to every living being. This same sense of responsibility inspires the Foundation’s commitment to animal welfare, protection and humane treatment.
What began as a personal vision during her teenage years has remained constant through the years: to build something that creates genuine, lasting and positive change in people’s lives.
That vision has required resilience, patience and an unwavering commitment to keep moving forward, even when the path has not been easy.
Today, MR Foundation is the beginning of that journey.
A journey driven by empathy.
Strengthened by resilience.
Grounded in dignity.
And dedicated to creating dynamic, meaningful and lasting change.
“I don't want this Foundation to simply exist. I want it to reach people, touch lives and leave every person we encounter a little stronger, a little safer, and a little more hopeful than before.”

Why We Exist
Because Support Can Become a Pathway to Change
Individuals and communities can face circumstances that limit access to opportunities, support and resources.
MR Foundation exists to contribute towards meaningful solutions through rehabilitation, empowerment, awareness, inclusion and community-based initiatives.
We believe people should not be defined by the challenges they face. With the right opportunities, support and environment, meaningful growth and positive change are possible.
